Any time is a good time to thank volunteers, but the end of the school year, before everyone leaves on vacation, is an especially good time for recognition.
Alumni School Interviewers: thanks to Heather Kurzbauer for leading our local committee, and thanks to van Johan van Rijn, Richard Golden, Rachel and Anatoly Brekhman, Bolanle Olupona and Heather for conducting all those interviews.
Events: Richard Golden organised the specatcular tour of the Stedelijk Museum and its depot. Harmony Folz earned our thanks for the Feb Club Emeritus event and last year’s Day of Service. And thanks to those who attended the Volunteer Leadership Forum in April.
A note of recognition to Johan van Rijn, who has taken on the role of Secretary of the Ivy Circle, which provides access to a wide range of great events.
And a special thanks, and farewell to Harmony Folz, who has managed our membership lists and been a key volunteer for many years. She’s taking a long trip with her family, so we’ll miss her help on many fronts.
