Royal Philips’ Turnaround Strategy — 19 September in Amsterdam

The Harvard Club invites us to the presentation of Mr. Jim Andrew Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, on Philips’ turnaround strategy.
In his presentation, Jim Andrew will explore the challenges being faced by Philips in the company’s turnaround. He will share how innovation is being embedded as a key enabler for business growth in the more than 100 markets the company is operating in and elaborate on the change program Accelerate! which has served as a basis for the transformation process. There will be time for an open discussion following the presentation.
Jim Andrew  is the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, Chairman of the Sustainability Board and Member of the Executive Committee of Royal Philips. Jim Andrew joined Philips from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
He is the author of the book Payback: Reaping the Rewards of Innovation. Mr. Andrew was recently appointed by Secretary of Commerce Locke as a charter member of the inaugural National Advisory Committee on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (NACIE), the council that advises the US administration on key innovation and entrepreneurship issues and supports President Obama’s innovation strategy.
